An Escalon man who pleaded no contest in connection with a crash that claimed two lives in June, 2014 has been sentenced to eight months in county jail and put on three years’ probation. Paul A. DaSilva, 42, was sentenced last week after entering the no contest plea last July. He began serving his sentence in the Stanislaus County Jail on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
