Members of the Escalon FFA kicked off the 2026-27 school year with the annual Welcome Back Meeting on August 25. More than 200 new and returning members came together to play dodgeball, enjoy pulled pork sandwiches, and meet this year’s chapter officers. With plenty of events and activities planned, members are already looking forward to an exciting year.

This year, Escalon FFA is offering eleven agriculture classes covering areas such as mechanics, floral design, agricultural science, leadership, food production, and animal science. The program is led by six chapter officers, four advisors, and two new student teachers who are ready to support members throughout the year.

The 2025-26 officer team includes President Trenton Silva, Vice President Brooklyn Dugo, Secretary Caroline Vierra , Treasurer Nathan Watson, Reporter Juan Navarro, and Sentinel Victor Quintana. They will work alongside advisors Gypsy Stark, Rachel Pimentel, Mallory Brenner, and Jonathan Moules to help members grow their skills and get involved. Student teachers include Cassidy Morton, from Chico State, and Holland Maguire from Stanislaus State.

With career development events, community service, supervised agricultural experiences, and other activities ahead, Escalon FFA is ready for another successful year.
