Escalon Covenant Church, 1155 Escalon Ave., will once again serve as a collection site for the shoeboxes being packed as part of Operation Christmas Child.

Next week is the National Collection Week and the church will be open special hours each day for people to drop off the shoeboxes, packed with items for youngsters across the country and around the world.

Monday, Nov. 14 will be the first day, with hours from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by: Tuesday, Nov. 15, noon to 2 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 20, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and finally, Monday, Nov. 21, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
