The Escalon Lions Club is gearing up for its traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage St. Patrick’s Day Dinner.

The event will be hosted at the Escalon Community Center on Thursday, March 15. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a no host bar and social hour, with dinner served at 7 p.m.

Again this year, there will be a ‘drive thru’ for residents who want to pick up their dinner to go. The drive thru meals will be available starting at 6 p.m.

Cost for the dinner is $20 per person and the meal includes the traditional corned beef and cabbage as well as side dishes. There will also be an opportunity to take a chance on raffle prizes. Proceeds from the event benefit Escalon High School scholarships and other community service projects of the local Lions Club.

Tickets will be available at the door or purchase them up prior to the event from Lions Club members, at D’Boni’s Pizza, MarVal Main Street Market and Escalon Body and Frame.
