Escalon Police Officer Mikale Bell, left, donated his time and hauled people off to ‘jail’ at the recent Escalon Relay For Life, with a fee to have people arrested and then those put into jail having to raise ‘bail’ money to be released. Here, he gives arrestee Katie Beall some strict orders. All the funds went to the relay effort, and a total of $577 was raised at the ‘jail’ in a little over an hour.
