Homecoming To Feature Alumni
EHS COUGARS

The Escalon High School Homecoming theme this year celebrates 100 years of Escalon High: “Escalon High through the decades.”

The Escalon High ASB leadership class is searching for 1930s through 1940s EHS graduates to serve as grand marshals of this year’s Homecoming festivities. The more the merrier, so if you or someone you know graduated in the 1930’s or 1940’s from Escalon High, please contact Sara Villines at 209-838-7073 ext. 7013 as soon as possible.

Since this year is EHS’s centennial, the yearbook will include some special features to celebrate it as well.

“We are looking for some community involvement,” said yearbook advisor Erin Headley. “For example, we would like to hear from families who have three or more generations who passed through the school, as well as the oldest alums. We are interested in people’s fond memories and funny stories and even where former Homecoming Queens, ASB presidents, etc. are now and how those experiences shaped them.”

Interested people can contact Headley at her email, eheadley@escalonusd.org or can call the school at 209-838-7073 if they don’t have email.

“We are doing a couple different things,” Headley added of the unique features for the yearbook. “The big thing is a fold out section showing the hundred years in a photo montage and time line with key events. There will probably be a few quotes there. We are also doing a special feature in our traditions divider about Cougar Pride using our ‘For Life’ slogan.”
