Escalon Historical Society Museum will host an Open House on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The museum is at 1630 Main St., and all are invited to this special event. There will be food, fun and history to enjoy.

The Open House will feature the unveiling of a recently installed 33-foot wall mural, redesigned displays in the museum and prizes. Bring a guest or renew your membership and receive an extra door prize ticket. Also, if you are not currently a Historical Society member, sign up at the event for membership and receive a special gift.

Regular museum hours are Wednesdays, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The museum is also open for tours by appointment.
