FOOTBALL FINALE
Scott honor

Assistant Coach Ray Scott, center right, was recognized and honored prior to the start of Friday night’s home finale for the football season, as he is retiring at the end of this season. Here, he and head coach Mark Loureiro, left, share a smile as players applaud. He has coached since 1989, spending 27 seasons working with the Cougars as a Defensive Line Coach. He also attended and graduated from EHS and has been with head coach Mark Loureiro for all of Loureiro’s 273 career victories. As a player, Scott was a member of the 1969 TVL Championship football team coached by Mark’s dad, Bob Loureiro. He has touched the lives of some 900 Cougar athletes over the years and been part of 14 TVL titles, eight Section championship and three State Championship teams. Friday was also Senior Night.
