Escalon Consolidated Fire Protection District responded to 18 calls for service during the period of Monday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 30. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, OCT. 30

10:40 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1300 block Miller; canceled prior to arrival, false alarm.

4:47 p.m. – Unknown type fire, 800 block First; assisted.

 

SATURDAY, OCT. 29

12:18 p.m. – Medical alarm sounding, 500 block Thompson; false alarm.

3:52 p.m. – Sprinkler activation in the 1500 block of Countrywood; sprinkler head flooded portion of home; no fire, malfunction only.

 

FRIDAY, OCT. 28

12:40 a.m. – Vehicle accident, McBride east of Hall; vehicle into power pole; subject(s) fled scene; unable to locate anyone.

6:05 a.m. – Overturned vehicle, Santa Fe west of Harrold; solo vehicle, non-injury.

9:49 a.m. – Power problems with transformer, 1800 block Coley, possible transformer fire.

6:59 p.m. – Alarm sounding, 2000 block McHenry; determined to be a false alarm, canceled prior to arrival.

8:20 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block of California.

11:17 p.m. – EMS, 2300 block Jessica Circle.

 

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 26

12:17 p.m. – Report of unknown type fire, determined to be brush pile at Escalon-Bellota and Arthur roads.

5:28 p.m. – EMS call, 20000 block Seidner Avenue.

6:12 a.m. – EMS call, 2000 block California.

3:51 p.m. – EMS, 2300 block California.

6:39 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.

9:05 a.m. – EMS, 19000 block Sexton Road.

4:54 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block California.
