Escalon’s Eric Ricotti guides her horse around one of three barrels set up for the barrel racing competition on Sunday afternoon at the Oakdale Saddle Club Rodeo Grounds during the 66th annual Oakdale Rodeo. The arena was still somewhat muddy on Sunday but nowhere near the slop pit featured on Saturday when some riders chose not to participate. Ricotti’s time of 19.59 did not get her in the money on Sunday but the crowd nonetheless cheered on the local competitor.
