U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) was presented Tuesday with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s “Spirit of Enterprise” Award recognizing his work supporting American workers and businesses through policies that encourage private sector investment and growth. Rep. Denham has received this award each year since 2011. “Small and large businesses are the backbone of our economy, and our job creators continue to face excessive government bureaucracy, an overcomplicated tax code and too many barriers to entry when working to grow and expand,” said Rep. Denham.
