A coordinated group of peaceful protestors gathered recently at the historic Knights Ferry covered bridge, staging a protest against the proposed Dakota Access pipeline. The ‘No DAPL’ movement was done on a nationwide basis on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 15, with the group at Knights Ferry including several church members from Merced, Mariposa, Fresno and Modesto in addition to the Save the Stanislaus River organization.
