The Delicato Family Vineyards 31st annual art show is going on now through Saturday, Feb. 17. The public is invited to come and enjoy the show, sip the latest wine releases and vote for favorites. Delicato Vineyards is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is on Highway 99, four miles north of Manteca.

The Escalon/Farmington Community Garden Club is accepting new members and is planning its first meeting for Thursday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Escalon Library. Meetings will be on the second Thursday of the month. All interested are encouraged to attend and grow with the Garden Club. The library is at 1540 Second St., Escalon.

Howard Training Center’s 24th Annual Crab Fest 2018 will be held on Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. and reservations are required. There is a no host bar and there will be live music starting at 9 p.m. Door and raffle prizes as well as an auction and silent auction will take place at the event as well. All the proceeds will support HTC programs and participants. For those that don’t eat crab, there will be tri-tip on the menu this year as a dining option. Science Saturday: Slime is the upcoming program at the Escalon Branch Library, set for Saturday, Feb. 3 at noon. Join the Escalon Library for another exciting Science Saturday. Be prepared to get your hands messy as they create oozing, gooey, and glittery slime. Science Saturday is a series of programs designed to engage children in science and mathematics through activities and experiments, guest visitors and more. Science Saturday is sponsored by Friends of the Escalon Library. Also, make sure to stop by the library for Preschool Storytime at 10:30 a.m. each Thursday, with stories, songs and activities offered for youngsters and their adult chaperones. Later on Thursdays, older kids can attend Makerspace, with supervised activities beginning at 4 p.m. The library is at 1540 Second St.

The First Tee of Central Valley has announced its 2018 Program Schedule. Clinics offering Life Skill and golf instruction for youth ages 6-17 are set to begin on Monday, March 19 at eight golf facilities in four counties. Lessons will focus on the fundamentals of golf as well as The First Tee Healthy Habits and Nine Core Values. The community is invited to an Open House at Modesto Muni golf course on Saturday, Feb. 3 from 10 am to noon. Marriage ceremonies will be offered on Valentine’s Day at the historic McHenry Mansion at 906 15th St., Modesto. “Marriage at the Mansion” offers each couple a romantic experience that will take them back in time. All ceremonies are individualized. Couples must sign up in advance. Ceremonies will start at 9 a.m. and run through 4 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Marriage licenses must be purchased and appointments made in advance at the Stanislaus County Clerk Recorder’s Office at 1021 I St., downtown Modesto. TOPS, Take Off Pounds Sensibly, meets every week on Mondays at 9 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church in Oakdale, 1480 Poplar. Visitors are always welcome and the first meeting is free. The local REO Speechtrain Toastmasters Club gathers for regular meetings every Wednesday morning, 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., at Perko’s Cafe, Patterson and Oakdale roads, Riverbank. Golden Agers weekly dances are open to those 50 and older from throughout the Central Valley at the Riverbank Community Center. Doors open Wednesdays at 9 a.m.; the center is at 3600 Santa Fe St., and first time guests are admitted free. The annual membership fee is $12 and each Wednesday members pay $5 and non-members can enjoy a few hours of music and dancing for $6.

Registration is now open for the Welcome Home Veterans Bike and Car Show, scheduled for April 14. All makes, models and years are welcome. The show will be held at the Tuolumne County Sheriff Posse Grounds, Rawhide Road, Jamestown.
