Applications for a number of San Joaquin County board and commission posts are available now and the completed applications due by April 22, with appointments anticipated by the county Board of Supervisors on May 10.

Among the seats available are:

One South San Joaquin Irrigation District Alternate post is open on the San Joaquin Advisory Water Board; one assessment appeals board post open on the Aviation Advisory Commission; one director is needed for the Collegeville Fire Protection District.

Also, three posts are open on the In Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee, with one provider representative and two user representatives needed; six posts are available on the Local Child Care Planning Council, with two community and two public agency representatives needed along with one child care provider and one consumer representative; and there will be one board appointee named to the Agriculture Technical Advisory Board.
