Construction Work Postponed
Cone

City of Escalon officials had originally scheduled a closure on McHenry Avenue for construction between Catherine Way and Narcissus Avenue for Thursday, June 22. However, due to the extreme heat of this week, the work has been postponed until Monday, June 26.

Motorists traveling on McHenry that day should be prepared for lane closures and traffic delays between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The work on McHenry is part of the overall McHenry Avenue improvement project, which also includes replacement of the bridge over the Stanislaus River and installation of a signal light at the intersection of River and McHenry, with San Joaquin County Public Works overseeing a major portion of the project as well.
