With the summer months right around the corner warm and dry climates will dehydrate you. Dehydration (lack of water) can creep up on you. Often time minor illness or chronic illnesses become worse because we don’t drink enough water. If you are on certain medications check with your private doctor if you are not sure. Most people need more water even if they don’t feel thirsty. Drinking other liquids such as caffeinated drinks can promote dehydration. Again if your doctor has restricted your water intake by all means follow instructions, but remember the heat changes how much water we lose and getting a little extra will keep you in balance.
