During the outdoor fun and games part of the Escalon Christian Reformed Church Vacation Bible School, youngsters – with a little help from their youth leaders – took aim with the water balloon sling shot, hoping to get the balloon on to the parachute being held by fellow VBS attendees. When it hit the mark, the balloon burst, providing a welcome spray of cool water.
