The front windows of the Escalon Historical Society’s Main Street Museum are ever-changing, with displays featuring scenes from the past or, in this case, a window of memorabilia. This display focuses on the life and work of Morris F. Garcia, an EHS graduate who went on to San Jose State and was involved in farming, banking and real estate during his lifetime He also wrote a children’s book, providing several copies to the museum to sell to benefit the city’s historical society. While masks are requested, the museum has re-opened for visitors on Wednesdays and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m.
