The Escalon Lions Club has announced that they are doing a Halloween drive-thru dinner for four. This will be the club’s first fundraiser of the year. To reserve your dinner, send an e-mail to EscalonLionsClub@gmail.com. The club will accept PayPal/cash or local check.

Cost for the dinner is $40 and the date is Saturday, Oct. 31 with pick-up hours from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location for the pick-up will be at Hogan-Ennis Park on Escalon Avenue. The meal for four will include Seasoned and BBQ’d Tri-tip, Baked Beans, Salad with ranch dressing and a loaf of French Bread.

Organizers said they are hoping that it will be a successful fundraiser for the local Lions Club, as it is their first one for this pandemic-impacted year.

The Tri-Tip dinner has been posted to the Escalon Residents Facebook page and the Escalon Lions Facebook page for those who want additional information. There are no tickets; all the ordering will be done online prior to the event date.
