A ‘farewell reception’ is being planned for Escalon librarian Brianna Anderson and library assistant Amanda Clifford, both of whom will be leaving Escalon and moving on to other positions within the Stockton-San Joaquin County library system.

The Friends of the Escalon Library have planned a Community Celebration to thank them for their years of service, set for Thursday, Jan. 30 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the library’s Ekholm Room.

The library is at 1540 Second St.; all are welcome to attend the community celebration.
