Escalon residents are welcome and encouraged to join in the next Coffee with a Cop event, being hosted at the Starbucks, 1255 Lillian Ave., Escalon, on Wednesday, May 27.

Hours for the event will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Join the Escalon Police Department for coffee and conversation; there is no formal agenda, just a chance for residents to ask questions, share ideas and get to know the officers who serve the community.

With the goal of “Building community – one cup at a time” the Coffee with a Cop gatherings are hosted locally on a regular basis as a way to have police officers and city residents meet in a relaxed, informal setting.
