Are you looking for an after-school activity for your child ages 8-18? If so, Hutton’s Hamlet in Oakdale may just have what you need.

Hutton’s will be offering an after-school theatre workshop starting Oct. 25. This theatre workshop will last six weeks – through Dec. 1 – and will end with a cumulative performance to show off to friends and family what the students learned in just those six weeks. This workshop has been a huge success in the past, and Hutton’s is excited to continue it. The workshop will be taught by Emily Frantz, an Oakdale native with a theatre degree from the University of California, Irvine.

The workshop will cover acting basics and applying them to scenes from plays/movies, basic musical theatre dance, and clowning; a trio of disciplines. Classes will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
