The Escalon Police and Recreation Office will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's holidays from Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 through Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. For police assistance during this time, call 838-7093. Officers will be on patrol regularly but the business office will be closed, re-opening on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m.
All other city offices will remain open with regular business hours during this time except for closures on Monday, Dec. 24; Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. The offices will be open for regular business hours on Monday, Dec. 31 and will re-open for the new year on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m.
Local schools are also looking at a lengthy closure for the holidays, with the final day of classes set for Friday, Dec. 21. Classes on all campuses won't resume until Monday, Jan. 7.
