October brings some special events with it, so plan to join in the fun at Micke Grove Zoo over the next couple of weeks.

Trick O’ Treat at the Zoo is part of the ‘HalloWILD’ fun, with games, activities and trick or treating for kids on Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 19 and 20, Oct. 26 and 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Admission is $1 for children, $5 for adults with an additional parking fee; $5 on weekdays, $6 on weekends. Micke Grove is at 11793 N. Micke Grove Road, Lodi.

On Saturday, Oct. 20, visit Oak Grove Regional Park or Micke Grove to try disc golf. The courses are open from 8 a.m. to dusk; bring your own equipment and use the course for free. Parking is $6 on weekends.
