Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 19 calls for service during the period of Monday, Aug. 14 through Sunday, Aug. 20. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, AUG. 20

12:39 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 2500 block Jackson.

3:24 p.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

6:06 p.m. – EMS, 22000 block East Mariposa Road.

 

SATURDAY, AUG. 19

2:23 p.m. – EMS call, 21000 block South Sexton.

6:14 p.m. – Call in the 1000 block of Yosemite, determined to be a false alarm; no response required.

 

FRIDAY, AUG. 18

No calls logged.

 

THURSDAY, AUG. 17

11:57 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

1:22 p.m. – EMS, 1300 block Dent.

4:21 p.m. – Water rescue, 23000 block Santa Fe; responded to possible rescue at Jacob Myers Park, Stanislaus County and Modesto Fire also responded; Escalon units released from scene.

 

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 16

5:10 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, 20000 block River Road; determined to be non-injury, absorbent put down to clean up oil spill.

3:23 p.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson.

4:43 p.m. – EMS, 3300 block McHenry.

6:32 p.m. – Smoke investigation, River and McHenry; no fire located, only haze in the area.

8:03 p.m. – Lift assist, 23000 block River Road.

10:18 p.m. – EMS, 2400 block California.

 

TUESDAY, AUG. 15

MONDAY, AUG. 14

6:51 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Dodds Road west of Escalon-Bellota; single vehicle into a tree with one minor injury reported.

8:55 a.m. – EMS call, 1200 block First.

1:56 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Lone Tree and Carrolton; two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries. Absorbent placed on roadway for fluid clean up, units cleared by CHP.

2:43 p.m. – EMS, 25000 block East Lone Tree.

3:25 p.m. – EMS, 2300 block Thaddeous.
