Fire Calls 04-26-23

Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 21 calls for service during the period of Monday, April 17 through Sunday, April 23. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 23

12:19 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Highway 120 and Victory; two vehicle accident with one vehicle into the canal submerged under water. Escalon and Modesto fire departments both responded as the call was at the San Joaquin-Stanislaus County line. The Lathrop Manteca dive team also responded and assisted in recovering one deceased male subject from the submerged vehicle. The second driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Escalon crews remained on scene until 2:40 a.m. to assist.

9:47 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 2100 block Jackson.

 

SATURDAY, APRIL 22

7:24 a.m. – Lift assist, 2200 block Vernon.

8:39 a.m. – Vehicle accident, Henry north of Highway 120; single vehicle into an irrigation pipe, non-injury.

2:33 p.m. – Vehicle accident, Henry and Dodds; dispatched and canceled, determined to be in Farmington district.

3:18 p.m. – EMS call, 1500 block James.

4:15 p.m. – Vehicle accident, Lone Tree and Brennan; two-vehicle accident with four minor injuries, all patients transported.

8:18 p.m. – EMS, 30000 block Hall.

9:28 p.m. – EMS, 2000 block McHenry.

9:41 p.m. – EMS, 19000 block McHenry.

 

FRIDAY, APRIL 21

No calls logged.

 

THURSDAY, APRIL 20

6:07 p.m. – EMS call, 1100 block California.

6:18 p.m. – Lift assist, 23000 block River Road.

8:47 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block Campbell.

 

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19

12:41 p.m. – EMS call, 23000 block Arthur.

2:06 p.m. – Vehicle accident, Dodds and Steinegul; Farmington also responded, two vehicles involved with one patient transported to San Joaquin General with moderate to major injuries.

 

TUESDAY, APRIL 18

11:32 p.m. – Smoke check, Santa Fe and River; smoke in the area, determined to be from an ag burn, no actual fire.

 

MONDAY, APRIL 17

8:16 a.m. – EMS call, 2500 block Jackson.

12:24 p.m. – Outdoor fire reported, 17000 block Henry; determined to be a burn pile.

1:04 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1100 block Escalon Avenue; canceled prior to arrival.

7:05 p.m. – EMS, 700 block Rosina.

7:13 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.
