It’s time to clean out the garage and the closets; find the stuff you don’t need or want anymore and get ready to make some cash with it.
Escalon’s annual citywide yard sale is on the schedule for Saturday, Oct. 2 and will run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Look for the sign-up form to advertise your yard sale, available in the current city newsletter. Complete the form and return it to City Hall with the required $5 fee in order to get your address on the map of sales and included in regional advertising.
All forms/fees must be received at City Hall by Tuesday, Sept. 28 in order for the addresses to be on the map and in advertising.
The Yard Sale Map is available at local businesses in the days prior to the citywide sale and is also available outside City Hall on the day of the event.
Typically, the early October sale day brings throngs of shoppers in to the community, some from the Bay Area, others coming in from the foothills; all in search of that unique, must-have item.
It has been a standing autumn event for the community and this year marks the 29th annual citywide sale.
For more information about the upcoming event or getting your sale on the map, call Escalon City Hall at 209-691-7400.
