SUNDAY, AUG. 30
12:57 a.m. – Vandalism complaint, house toilet-papered on Mission; juveniles involved released to parents, mess cleaned up. Log note only.
6:37 a.m. – Report of a vehicle stuck on the tracks, Clough and McHenry; several people assisting to get vehicle off, driven off with no damage, no injury.
2:05 p.m. – Officer initiated activity, security check at Hogan-Ennis Park in the 1000 block of Escalon Avenue; checks OK.
5:37 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, westbound on Highway 120 from McHenry Avenue; swerving and following too closely. Unable to locate.
SATURDAY, AUG. 29
4:49 a.m. – Report of a vehicle on the tracks at Highway 120 and McHenry; it was determined to be a non-injury incident; report taken.
11:28 a.m. – Extra patrol, Highway 120 and Campbell; checks OK.
2:52 p.m. – Extra patrol in the 800 block of First Street, El Portal Middle School. Checks OK.
5:21 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department in locating a subject in the area of Blackmore Road; assisted.
8:18 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance on Clough; subject seen outside home possibly holding a machete; unable to locate.
9:43 p.m. – Security check requested in the area of Walnut due to unknown vehicle in the area; checks OK.
10:56 p.m. – Vandalism complaint on Elizabeth; assisted.
11:07 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, loud music reported on Alberto Lane; unable to locate.
FRIDAY, AUG. 28
6:17 a.m. – Suspicious person seen in the area, possible transient subject sleeping next to the park in the 100 block of Libby; advised.
10 a.m. – Petty theft complaint on Irwin.
11:04 a.m. – Public assist at police station, subject reporting phone being hacked; referred to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office as it happened in the county area.
2:53 p.m. – Traffic enforcement, 1500 block Yosemite; Escalon High School. Log note only.
3:32 p.m. – Possible public intoxication, two subjects possibly drinking outside vehicles in the 1200 block of Plaza; determined to be unfounded.
6:34 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, high rate of speed in the area of Catherine and Ashwood; unable to locate.
6:56 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible trespassers in the area of California Street; checks OK.
9:09 p.m. – Suspicious person reported on Baker, gone on arrival.
11:29 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, subjects seen on the high school campus; checks OK.
THURSDAY, AUG. 27
7:05 a.m. – Extra patrol, officer initiated activity in the area of Main and Fourth checks OK.
7:19 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance in the area of Miller and Escalon Avenue; unknown male subject approached a woman as she walked past a vehicle; the reporting party was able to flag down a passing vehicle to leave the area but reported seeing several other male subjects in a while utility style van in the area. Informational report.
2:07 p.m. – Follow up in the 1300 block of Miller regarding the previous incident; log note only.
2:21 p.m. – Public assist at police station, 2000 block McHenry.
3:11 p.m. – Vehicle stop in the 1500 block of Yosemite for juveniles on E dirt bikes; juveniles informed of bike laws and where various classes of bikes can be used.
4:31 pm. – Assist outside agency, assist to Lathrop Police Department regarding locating a vehicle.
5:15 p.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1900 block McHenry; log note only.
