SUNDAY, OCT. 3

1:50 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, suspicious vehicle at Hogan-Ennis Park;

1000 block Escalon Avenue; checks OK.

2:29 a.m. – Check of vehicle at Escalon Library, 1500 block Second; checks OK.

2:38 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle check, 2200 block Jackson; checks OK.

10:57 a.m. – Suspicious person in the area, 1300 block Escalon; one arrest made.

11:19 a.m. – Hit and run with property damage, occurred sometime overnight in the 1600 block of John; report taken.

12:57 p.m. – Meet a citizen request at police station, 2000 block McHenry.

1:15 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, loud music in the 1300 block Dent; unable to locate.

6:57 p.m. – Dispute reported in the 1700 block of Muscat; log note only.

 

SATURDAY, OCT. 2

12:35 a.m. – Police received a report of a vehicle parked in business parking lot along Roosevelt; male appear to be sleeping in vehicle. Arrest made.

2:25 a.m. – Shots fired report, caller reported hearing three gunshots in the area, Jones and McHenry; unable to locate anything, checks secure.

9:59 a.m. – Found property report, debit card found in the 2200 block of Jackson.

10:12 a.m. – Report of several subjects in the area, drinking alcoholic beverages outside the business in the parking lot, 1300 block Escalon Avenue; log note only.

10:47 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1000 block of Escalon Avenue, misdial, secure.

12:26 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, unknown if abandoned, has been in the 2500 block of Jackson for the past couple of weeks; log note only.

3:34 p.m. – Report of suspicious vehicle, parked in the area for several weeks, 1500 block John; 72-hour parking notice provided on vehicle.

4:17 p.m. – Public Works callout for malfunctioning traffic signals at Escalon and Yosemite.

6:31 p.m. – Threats complaint, report taken.

9:35 p.m. – Assist to Merced County Sheriff’s Office on warrant.

10:29 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, loud music in the 1300 block of First; advised.

 

FRIDAY, OCT. 1

2:46 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, suspicious vehicle at Escalon High School, 1500 block Yosemite; checks OK.

7:45 a.m. – Extra patrol, Escalon High School; checks OK.

7:50 a.m. – Extra patrol at Dent Elementary, 1900 block Yosemite; no problems noted.

7:55 a.m. – Extra patrol, 800 block First; El Portal Middle School, checks OK.

10:14 a.m. – Meet a citizen at police station.

11:23 a.m. – Reckless driving complaint, last seen southbound on McHenry and Ladd, motorcyclist driving recklessly, Modesto CHP and Stanislaus County authorities also notified.

11:56 a.m. – Meet a citizen at police station.

3 p.m. – Extra patrol at high school.

3:05 p.m. – Extra patrol at El Portal.

3:26 p.m. – Non-injury accident, Yosemite and Escalon avenues, assisted.

4 p.m. – Meet a citizen at police station.

6:50 p.m. – Extra patrol at Escalon High School.

6:55 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2500 block of Jackson; checks secure.

7:19 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up, came back to the area of Escalon High School; accidental dial.

8:10 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle reported in the 1100 block of First, storage area; checks OK.

10:25 p.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1900 block McHenry; checks OK.

 

THURSDAY, SEPT. 30

12:10 a.m. – Bicycle stop, First and Main; warned.

2:40 a.m. – CHP Stockton reported pursuit in Ripon area, vehicle wanted for speeding violation, log note only.

10:29 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the area of Reisling and California; checks OK.

3:03 p.m. – Residential alarm sounding, 2300 block Spring; checks OK.

3:30 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1900 block Main; log note only.

4:08 p.m. – Assist outside agency, 2100 block Coley.

8:40 p.m. – Found property report, St. Clair and San Joaquin; log note only.

9:13 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 1500 block of Yosemite; report taken.

1:57 a.m. – Check of suspicious vehicle in the area of Coley and Third; assisted.

7:07 a.m. – Suspicious person reported, 1700 block of North; unable to locate.

8:45 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1100 block La Mesa with one arrest reported.

1:37 p.m. – Probation check in the 1700 block of Baker; log note only.

1:47 p.m. – Probation check in the 1600 block of Mitchell; log note only.

2:09 a.m. – Meet a citizen at police station; assisted.

2:28 p.m. – Non-injury vehicle accident reported in the 1900 block of McHenry; assisted.

2:57 p.m. – Suspicious person reported in the area, Coley and Jill, eastbound on Coley; unable to locate.
