Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 22 calls for service during the period of Monday, June 26 through Sunday, July 2. Calls included:

SUNDAY, JULY 2

9:14 a.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 2400 block California.

4:36 p.m. – Water rescue, 24000 block East River Road; Boat 1-1 assisted two females across the river to safety.

SATURDAY, JULY 1

4:22 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block Highway 120.

5:17 p.m. – EMS, 2000 block Lydia.

7:27 p.m. – Lift assist, 2200 block Mission.

8:23 p.m. – EMS, 17000 block South Henry; Stanislaus Engine 26 handled the call.

8:24 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block South Van Allen.

9:16 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 21000 block River Road; dispatched for grass fire threatening vehicles and a structure; crews arrived on scene to find a fully involved vehicle and grass fire in the area. Brush 1-1 and Chief 1-1 on scene, mutual aid was called in from multiple departments including Battalion 2-3, Modesto Battalion 1, Water Tenders 14-1, 2-1 and 27, Engine 2-1, Modesto, Engine 7, Brush 12 and Grass 27 assisted with containing the fire and conducting mop-up operations. The scene was turned over to fire investigator Pelot. Fire scene was between Van Allen and Carrolton along the river.

9:33 p.m. – Vehicle accident reported, Santa Fe with cross of Orange; Farmington Fire District handled the call due to station coverage for Escalon. No patient located; driver had fled the scene.

9:37 p.m. – Vehicle accident, 1400 block California.

FRIDAY, JUNE 30

12:31 a.m. – EMS call, 1100 block Escalon Avenue.

THURSDAY, JUNE 29

10:48 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 18000 block Enterprise; canceled prior to arrival.

12:12 p.m. – EMS call, 13000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

8:44 p.m. – EMS, 2200 block Jordanolo.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 28

12:33 a.m. – Lift assist, 1700 block Emperor Court.

7:46 a.m. – EMS call, 2100 block California.

2:53 p.m. – EMS, 1200 block Yosemite.

3:02 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Escalon and Yosemite avenues; single vehicle into a light pole, determined to be non-injury.

4 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Emperor.

TUESDAY, JUNE 27

5:06 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, River Road and Brennan; single vehicle accident with no injuries reported.

MONDAY, JUNE 26

6:16 a.m. – EMS call, 2300 block Yosemite.

1:01 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.
