Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 26 calls for service during the period of Monday, July 11 through Sunday, July 17. Calls included:

SUNDAY, JULY 17

1:31 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 24000 block River Road.

4:38 p.m. – EMS call, 1400 block St. Clair.

7:03 p.m. – EMS, 2000 block McHenry.

11:44 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, hit and run non-injury, solo vehicle into a power pole, driver fled the scene; Lone Tree and Brennan. Roadway closed in both directions for replacement of damaged power pole.

SATURDAY, JULY 16

5:45 p.m. – Mutual aid to Ripon Fire, assist on vegetation fire along the Stanislaus River off Jack Tone Road.

6:43 p.m. – EMS call, 23000 block East Craig Road.

7:49 p.m. – EMS, 16000 block Lawrence Road.

8:50 p.m. – River bottom fire, vegetation fire along Stanislaus River in the 22000 block of McBride. Mutual aid called in with engines from Modesto, French Camp, Mountain House and Waterloo-Morada responding to assist with roughly three-quarters of an acre fire, difficult access.

8:53 p.m. – EMS call, 1600 block Mitchell. Unable to respond due to being out on vegetation fire, Escalon Community Ambulance able to handle.

FRIDAY, JULY 15

11:14 p.m. – EMS call, 15000 block Escalon-Bellota Road.

THURSDAY, JULY 14

10:07 p.m. – Public assist, 23000 block Santa Fe; subject locked in Jacob Myers Park, assisted.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 13

12:15 a.m. – EMS call, 1600 block Mitchell.

11:53 a.m. – EMS, 2100 block Coley.

12:19 p.m. – EMS, 400 block First; canceled prior to arrival.

2:39 p.m. – EMS, 24000 block East River Road.

4:50 p.m. – EMS, 1700 block Emperor Court.

6:09 p.m. – EMS, 28000 block Orange Avenue.

8:10 p.m. – Smoke investigation, brush fire in the 16000 block of Henry, determined to be illegal burn; homeowner extinguished.

TUESDAY, JULY 12

2:42 a.m. – Small roadside grass fire reported, River Road.

9:57 a.m. – EMS call, 22000 block East Mariposa Road.

10:23 a.m. – EMS, 2000 block McHenry.

2:08 p.m. – EMS, 2300 block Jackson.

5:47 p.m. – EMS, McHenry and Jones; determined to be a police matter for a possible intoxicated motorist.

6:55 p.m. – EMS, 20000 block Orange.

MONDAY, JULY 11

10:51 a.m. – Vehicle fire, Cometa and Tressa Lane. Vehicle trailer on fire, cause was determined to be overheated brakes, extinguished.

10:04 p.m. – EMS call, 1600 block Mitchell.
