Escalon Consolidated Fire District responded to 26 calls for service during the period of Monday, Sept. 12 through Sunday, Sept. 18. Calls included:

 

SUNDAY, SEPT. 18

3:20 p.m. – Emergency Medical Services call, 3300 block Edgetown.

7:27 p.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1600 block Main; false alarm.

 

SATURDAY, SEPT. 17

1:13 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1600 block Main; determined to be false alarm.

7:33 a.m. – EMS call, 21000 block South Van Allen.

9:31 a.m. – Dispatched for possible explosion heard in the area, 22000 block South Henry; unable to locate anything unusual.

11 a.m. – Fire alarm, 16000 block Escalon-Bellota Road; false alarm.

1:46 p.m. – Vehicle accident reported, non-injury, near River and Santa Fe.

 

FRIDAY, SEPT. 16

2:43 a.m. – EMS call, 2100 block Jordanolo.

10 a.m. – EMS, 1700 block Colombard Court.

11:46 a.m. – Vehicle accident reported, Highway 120 and Main; determined to be non-injury.

 

THURSDAY, SEPT. 15

5:41 a.m. – EMS call, 1400 block Elizabeth.

11:19 p.m. – EMS, 2500 block Jackson.

 

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 14

1:23 a.m. – Fire alarm sounding, 1600 block Main; determined to be false alarm.

7:03 a.m. – Smoke check in the 25000 block River Road; determined to be a hot spot from a vegetation fire extinguished the previous day.

10:37 a.m. – EMS call, 400 block of Valdapena; canceled by medics on scene.

2:58 p.m. – EMS, 900 block First.

3:16 p.m. – EMS, 800 block California.

5:29 p.m. – EMS, 31000 block Combs.

9:21 p.m. –EMS call, 25000 block of East Jones.

10:47 p.m. – EMS, 1000 block San Miguel.

 

TUESDAY, SEPT. 13

5:24 a.m. – EMS call, 900 block Westbrook.

11:02 a.m. – Fire call, vehicle fire reported in the almond orchard, Brennan and Mariposa; no one around vehicle, fire extinguished.

11:31 a.m. – Report of carbon monoxide alarm sounding, 1500 block Crestwood; determined to be false alarm.

6:56 p.m. – Vegetation fire, 25000 block River Road; on arrival three-quarters of an acre involved, spread to cover roughly one-and-a-half acres; mutual aid called in from Modesto Fire Department, Stanislaus Consolidated and Farmington Fire Department with extensive mop up.

 

MONDAY, SEPT. 12

3:56 p.m. – Possible rubbish fire reported, 18000 block Enterprise; on arrival crews found two walnut hull bins on fire, extinguished.

9:03 p.m. – EMS call, 22000 block Mariposa Road.
