Members of the Escalon Farmington Garden Club will gather for the first session of their new year on Thursday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m.

The meeting is scheduled at the United Methodist Church meeting hall at 25626 Elm St., Farmington.

The program will be designs by members of Valley Floral Arrangers.

There is also incentive for anyone interested in attending; there will be a random drawing for prizes for attendees. First place prize is a 2021 iris, second is a wooden candle holder and third place is still to be determined.
