Escalon Area Under Freeze Warning

A cold dry air mass filtering over the region will result in freezing morning temperatures in the Sacramento and northern San Joaquin valleys. The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. PST Monday.

Temperature: Coldest lows ranging from 27 to 32. Local hard freeze conditions possible in low spots with temperatures in the mid-20s.

Impacts: Freezing temperatures can damage or kill plants that are sensitive to cold. Check on the elderly and make sure your animals have a warm shelter.

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
