Get in a workout and support a good cause, with a special event on Jan. 27.

The CrossFit Oakdale gym is participating in The Lou WoD on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, to benefit the Live Like Lou Foundation.

The Lou was created by Sunshine CrossFit owner Deb Austin and inspired by CrossFit Games Athlete, former gym owner, and ALS advocate Rainer Hartmann, who was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2022.

The local CrossFit will be having a partner workout that can be modified for all levels of fitness.

Among the highlights of “The Lou” workout are: 44 rounds, split work with partner; four Wallballs (20/14); four Pull-ups; four Burpees; four DB Snatches (50/35).

Call or text Alison at 209-345-4380 if you would like to participate.
