MONDAY, JULY 31

1:05 a.m. – Downtown security check, 1700 block Main; no problems noted.

1:34 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, open car door in the 2400 block of Jessica; resident contacted, car door closed.

5:34 a.m. – Security check at Hogan Park, 1000 block Escalon Avenue.

5:55 a.m. – Possible burglary, 1500 block Yosemite; report taken; doors pried open on high school campus, no other damage and nothing appears missing.

 

SUNDAY, JULY 30

12:20 a.m. – Security check, 1900 block McHenry; checks OK.

12:27 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, pedestrian stop in the 1700 block of Main at Main Street Park; advised.

12:35 a.m. – Pedestrian stop in the 1200 block of Lillian; log note only.

12:42 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 1500 block of Yosemite, checks OK.

1:14 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of Jackson; checks OK.

1:37 a.m. – Check of vehicle at Hogan Park; subjects cleaning up after party.

1:58 a.m. – Downtown security check; 1700 block Main; checks OK.

2:16 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of McHenry; police made a traffic stop and subsequently arrested a 27-year-old Modesto man on a misdemeanor bench warrant for vandalism out of the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked at San Joaquin County Jail on the no bail warrant and was also issued citations for no proof of insurance, expired registration and displaying false registration tabs.

6:32 a.m. – Reckless driving complaint, eastbound on Highway 120, will be on the lookout.

7 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up, accidental dial from the 1600 block of Daniels; secure.

11:07 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2100 block of Franklin; all secure, accidental dial.

3:27 p.m. – Petty theft complaint, 1900 block Roosevelt; report taken.

9:26 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible prowler in the area, 2500 block Jackson; area checks secure.

 

SATURDAY, JULY 29

2:26 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 1900 block of McHenry; log note only.

9:18 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, citizen at police station reporting prior incident. Report taken.

12:37 p.m. – Petty theft complaint, occurred prior in the 1200 block of Yosemite; report taken.

8:41 p.m. – Security check at Hogan Park; no problems noted.

11:13 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 2100 block Arroya; warned.

11:39 p.m. – Downtown security check, 1700 block Main; checks OK.

 

FRIDAY, JULY 28

12:03 a.m. – Extra patrol at Sophie and Countrywood.

12:36 a.m. – Officer initiated activity at Hogan Park; subject advised of park hours.

1:15 a.m. – Stop at Countrywood and Swanson, bike light warning.

1:29 a.m. – Downtown security check; no problems noted.

1:20 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from CHP, Stockton, regarding reckless driver in the area of Highway 120 and Brennan.

6:54 p.m. – Security check at Hogan Park; checks OK.

7:55 p.m. – Bike stop, Yosemite and Campbell; warned.

9:16 p.m. – Security check in the 1200 block of Plaza; checks OK.

10:20 p.m. – Suspicious person in the area, officer initiated activity in the 1500 block of Yosemite; checks OK.

11:48 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1700 block Gwendolyn; report taken.

 

THURSDAY, JULY 27

12:54 a.m. – Extra patrol on Farinelli Parkway; checks OK.

5:35 a.m. – Officer initiated activity, check of animal shelter and gun range, 25000 block River Road; checks OK.

12:21 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 hang up, no coordinates available; log note only.

12:26 p.m. – Suspicious person in the area, southbound on McHenry, yelling and screaming, no one else in area; log note only.

12:42 p.m. – Meet a citizen at the police department, 2000 block McHenry.

1:21 p.m. – Complaint of speeders in the area, 1100 block First; log note only.

3:46 p.m. – Meet a citizen, officer initiated activity at Escalon City Hall, 2000 block McHenry.

4:19 p.m. – Non-injury accident reported on private property, 1600 block Third; assisted.

4:51 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff in contacting a subject regarding a vehicle.

5:38 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2500 block of Matthew; checks OK.

7:56 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the area of Swanson and Oakwood; unable to locate.

9:27 p.m. – Suspicious person reported, walking westbound on First; unable to locate.

9:41 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County Sheriff on call in the 22000 block of Mariposa Road.

11:20 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Hogan Park, 1000 block Park; checks OK.

 

WEDNESDAY, JULY 26

1:33 a.m. – Officer initiated activity in the 1900 block of McHenry; checks OK.

2:17 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1900 block of McHenry; checks OK, misdial.

5:30 a.m. – Check at Escalon High School, 1500 block Yosemite; secure.

5:56 a.m. – CHP Merced reporting reckless driver, all over the roadway in the area of River and McHenry; unable to locate.

6:22 p.m. – Assist outside agency, assist to San Joaquin County sheriff’s deputies on possible alarm sounding in the 23000 block of South Santa Fe; following an investigation a 42-year-old man from Escalon was subsequently arrested and issued a citation for possession of a controlled substance.

10:40 p.m. – Security check, downtown, 1700 block Main; checks OK.

11:07 p.m. – Officer initiated activity at Escalon Community Center, 1000 block Escalon Avenue.
