9:18 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1200 block of Lillian; checks OK.
SUNDAY, DEC. 20
1:18 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the area, appears to be shining a green light toward aircraft; westbound Highway 120 passing Harrold. Warned.
1:38 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, out with two behind a business in the 1500 block of California; log note only.
1:50 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, report of a physical fight in the area of Main and the railroad tracks; unable to locate anyone.
3:55 a.m. – Check of Brentwood Park; area secure.
4:31 a.m. – Check of businesses, 1200 block Plaza; no problems noted.
9:26 a.m. – Vehicle burglary reported, 2000 block Edmart.
12:36 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, unknown vehicle in area, Brook and Autumn.
4:16 p.m. – Pedestrian stop, out with one in the area of McHenry and Weiss; checks OK.
6 p.m. – Complaint of an aggressive transient asking customers for money in the 1900 block of McHenry; subject advised regarding panhandling.
7:38 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, Highway 120 and Brennan; moving violation citation issued.
11:03 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle observed at Hogan Park; log note only.

SATURDAY, DEC. 19
2:19 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1600 block Main; checks OK.
10:24 a.m. – Report of fraud, subject lost wallet and determined cards had been used for purchases; report taken.
8:01 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 2000 block of Jackson; determined to be a medical aid call; assisted.
9:56 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1100 block of First; accidental misdial, secure.
9:57 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible attempted break-in at the 1700 block of Baker.
11:02 p.m. – Complaint of suspicious subjects in the area, going through trash cans in the 2100 block of Coley; advised of Dumpster diving laws.
FRIDAY, DEC. 18
1:13 a.m. – Security check at Escalon High School; no problems noted.
1:50 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1400 block California; checks OK.
1:22 p.m. – Traffic hazard reported, large tree branches in roadway, 1500 block Brayton; assisted.
3:11 p.m. – Petty theft complaint filed at the police station.
7:02 p.m. – Officers on patrol in the 1200 block of Yosemite Avenue observed a subject with a known warrant. Officers made contact with the man and took him into custody on the Escalon misdemeanor warrant for an expired registration, no license and no proof of insurance. A check of the subject also determined he was wanted by the California Department of Corrections on a felony parole violation. Ryan Villines, 39, of Escalon was subsequently booked at San Joaquin County Jail on the felony count.

THURSDAY, DEC. 17
4:04 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1700 block California; checks OK.
4:31 a.m. – Security check downtown; no problems noted.
4:35 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Main and Viking; checks secure.
7:24 a.m. – Possible attempted burglary reported on La Mesa, screen door tampered with; report taken.
12:35 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, 1100 block Yosemite.
6:45 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, Highway 120 and David; checks OK.
6:55 p.m. – Report of vehicle in the area of Escalon-Bellota and Arthur, possible intoxicated driver; unable to locate.
7:58 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up on Matthew Lane due to a possible verbal dispute. Upon arrival, officers conducted a security check at the residence and determined there had been a physical dispute as well as verbal. A 56-year-old woman was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of battery on a co-habitant and booked at San Joaquin County Jail.
