With plans continuing to firm up for the city’s Park Fete Celebration in August, the 2021 Little Mr. and Miss Escalon Pageant is on the schedule.

The event itself is planned for Thursday, Aug. 5. Several Park Fete Week activities are being pulled together, including recognition for Senior Mr. and Mrs. Escalon, pageants, cornhole tournament plus the Friday afternoon to Saturday night formal Park Fete festivities with food, games, music, booths and more.

An informational sign-up meeting for the ‘Little’ pageant is scheduled for Tuesday, July 13 at 6 p.m., on the Main Street Stage in the city’s Main Street Park.

Open to children from ages 5 to 7, they must reside in or attend school in the Escalon School District.

The two chosen as Little Miss and Little Mr. Escalon serve as young ambassadors for the city, riding in parades, attending a number of Chamber of Commerce events and more.
