Hutton Production

The first of several productions at Hutton’s Hamlet in Oakdale, “So You Want To Be A Cowboy”, takes the stage this month. Theater kids are transported back in time to the Old West town of Pecos, where the local sheriff has just captured Gabe, the leader of the notorious Hills Gang. When Gabe’s three outlaw sisters arrive in Pecos, it doesn’t take long for them to take over the town. It’s up to the kids to show the townsfolk that being a cowboy means standing up for what is right in this delightful musical. Shows are scheduled Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, June 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Hutton’s Hamlet Performing Arts Center is at 132 W. G St., Oakdale. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for those ages 12 and under. For more information, call 209-848-1216.
