Chamber Of Commerce Sees Busy 2020 Ahead

With a goal of promoting the city and supporting all things Escalon, the Chamber of Commerce is looking at a very busy schedule for the coming year.

Chamber Ambassador Steph Ennis put together a listing of the already scheduled activities that will come under the Chamber umbrella or have significant Chamber involvement.

Among them are: Saturday, March 14, Tea and Trumpets; Sunday, May 3, Sunday in the Park; Sunday, June 7, Sunday in the Park; Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11, Park Fete Children’s Corral. Also, Sunday, Aug. 2, Sunday in the Park; Saturday, Sept. 19, Wine Stroll; Saturday, Oct. 3, Citywide Yard Sale; Sunday, Oct. 4, Sunday in the Park; Tuesday, Dec. 1, Hospice Tree Lighting; Saturday, Dec. 12, Christmas on Main.

The Chamber of Commerce also meets the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Ekholm Meeting Room at the Escalon Library, 1540 Second St.

“Chamber Mixers, Ribbon Cuttings and Workshops will be added as planned,” Ennis said.

In fact, a February Chamber Mixer has been announced, with Wednesday, Feb. 19 the date set for the mixer at the Tri-Tipery, 29250 Highway 120, at the corner of Seidner Avenue and the highway, just east of the city.

The event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; all are welcome to stop by to say hi, enter for a door prize and check out the eatery. Food and beverages will be available.
