Centennial Scrapbook: 100 Years Of EHS Memories
kudos
Escalon High School principal Eric Simoni, right, offers kudos to Centennial Celebration planning committee members April Adams, left, and Lisa McCune. Also shown is FFA member Jack Fitzgerald, who was a guest speaker at the event and helped here with the drawings for raffle prizes.

The festive ‘Centennial Celebration’ for Escalon High School was hosted on Saturday, Feb. 29. While there was a feature story and some photos in the March 4 issue of The Times, this week we feature a ‘scrapbook’ of additional photos from the historic day. Marking a century of service to students and the community, the celebration drew a huge crowd and gave current students the chance to connect with alumni. It also featured a number of guest speakers, the wall of history, cheer, music and vocal performances, and more.

beads
Several activities for the young and the young at heart were set up around the quad area on the EHS campus during the 100-year celebration including a beading station here, which drew a steady stream of visitors.
choir
Current and alumni choir members sang the National Anthem and helped lead the crowd in the alma mater on Feb. 29, part of the Centennial Celebration festivities for Escalon High School.
