Volunteer Ron Cohagan organizes the bags of groceries at the Escalon C.A.R.E., Community Action Resources of Escalon, Center during the recent distribution day. The food cupboard, on Second Street, helps needy area families with groceries as well as having some special programs for senior citizens. The Wednesday grocery giveaway runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
