Bible Series Continues At First Baptist Church

A Bible “walk-through” covering both the entire old and new Testaments, from Genesis through Revelation, continues this week at Escalon First Baptist Church. Scheduled for Sundays from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., all in the community are welcome to attend, with Sept. 23 the date for the next installment.

The church’s website address is fbcescalon.org. Escalon First Baptist Church is at 1511 Catherine Way.

This informative, fun, interactive style Bible study will allow each participant to have a clear understanding of the flow of the entire Bible, how it is arranged, what happens where, its central message, and how to read, study, and understand the scriptures for the rest of one’s life. These Bible studies will use humor and association to help participants remember the stories, the geography, the history, and the message of the Bible.

Nursery and child care will be provided for infants and children. Everyone middle school age and up will connect with and enjoy the series, which is offered at no cost.

“This is our gift to the community,” said Pastor Dale Pederson. “There is no cost to participants and no offerings or donations will be solicited. This is not a study in church doctrine and there will be no mention of churches, denominations, or pastors. The only focus will be on grasping the flow and message of the Bible.”

The series continues through Oct. 21.
