Open to the community, a special Author Presentation is scheduled on Saturday, May 4 at 10:30 a.m. at the Escalon Public Library, 1540 Second St., Escalon.

Betsy Schwarzentraub will give a presentation on “Spiritual Reading to Get Through Tough Times” and the program is open to all interested.

Schwarzentraub is the author of Tossed in Time – Steering by the Christian seasons, and the new expanded edition of the book introduces readers to the ancient Christian seasons to hep them “find their personal bearing in the midst of the social disruptions” of recent years.

The book is designed to give readers a new rhythm to begin again, providing some down-to-earth themes, reflective questions and interactive workshop ideas. Experience each season with family, home school, church or Christian school.
