Local residents interested in applying for one of two available seats on the Escalon Planning Commission must turn in the applications by Friday, May 1.
Those interested in applying are asked to download an application packet at www.cityofescalon.org or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an application be emailed.
Completed applications may be emailed back to Diana Trejo at email@example.com or placed in the payment drop slot by the front of City Hall by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

The commission meets on the second Tuesday after the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m., in the council chambers on McHenry Avenue. Among the duties of the Planning Commission are to prepare and recommend comprehensive long-term general plans for the physical development of the city and any land outside its boundaries, along with investigating and recommending plans for improvements and beautification of the city to the Escalon City Council. Also, planners act as the advisory agency for the city regarding administering the state’s Subdivision and Map Act.
