Joining an elite group, Escalon senior Jack Anderson reached the 1,000 point mark in his varsity career when he hit a three-pointer against Hilmar on Feb. 8. He was recognized during halftime of the game, presented with a special commemorative 1,000 Point trophy ball. Making the presentation was his dad, Dave Anderson, also a member of the 1,000 Point Club and an EHS alum, Class of 1995, who is the current JV head coach. Jack has played varsity basketball for three years and will lead the Cougars into the playoffs on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
