A New Year’s Eve gala is being planned at Ripon’s Spring Creek Country Club in its spacious and elegant new clubhouse near the Stanislaus River above the award winning 18-hole course.

The evening will be kicked off with a no host cocktail hour beginning at 6 p.m. Guests of members are welcome, according to Bernie Brown, food and beverage manager.  Multiple food stations are being set as a Live Action Buffet for the club’s guests prepared by Chef Cody Epperson – including live carving, made to order pasta, seafood, finger foods and a salad bar.

Dancing will add to the excitement of the evening to renditions of the Lucky Devil Band where a total 150 diners are expected to take to the dance floor and usher in the New Year and attend a majestic balloon drop of more than 1,000 balloons that will mark the first minutes of 2017.

“We’re going to dance and have fun and break into 2017 the right way,” Brown said.
