The City of Sonora is excited to announce its Magic of the Night event, set for Friday, Aug. 3 from 6p.m. to 9 p.m.

This free family event will take place on the historic streets of downtown Sonora.

Enjoy live music by: The Blues Box Bayou Band, Rockin Rick, Stompbox, Lucky CuZn, Lava Cats and Driftwood Dave and the Driftones.

Entertainment will include: Tinder Fire Dancers, Hard Luck Lin and check out the Motherlode Corvettes with sound and lighting by Sound Extreme. Vintage classics from the Mother Lode Antique Car Club and the Model “A” Car Club will be on display. Plus, Captain Encouragement, Bouncy Houses, face painting by Rad Rachel and BC Magic will be featured, all happening in downtown Sonora.
