Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the month of March, Willow Creek Lounge at Black Oak Casino Resort will continue to host live entertainment. Renowned tributes to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones as well as numerous party bands are among those hitting the stage in March.
Each show is performed in the casino’s Willow Creek Lounge, and they are free but for a select few that may have a minimal ticket charge. For all 8 p.m. shows, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. while doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for 9 p.m. shows. Seating is first come, first serve.
Here are some of the performers lined up for March.
Thursday, March 2, 8 p.m. – Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen
Named 2016 International Blue Grass Musical Association’s Instrumental Group of the Year, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen combine their one-of-a-kind vocal, instrumental and songwriting skills into a hot Blue Grass/New Grass blend.
Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4, 9 p.m. – Left of Centre
Left of Centre is the Southwest’s premier country music tribute. The country rock band plays throughout Nevada in Reno, Las Vegas and beyond.
Thursday, March 9, 8 p.m. – Rock of Ages
Rock of Ages is a rocking tribute in full costume playing hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s including hits from The Doors, Bee Gees and Led Zeppelin.
Friday, March 10, 9 p.m. – Faithfully
Formerly Journey Revisited, Faithfully is a group of gifted musicians who accurately recreate hits from the band Journey, note-for-note in all the original keys.
Saturday, March 11, 9 p.m. – Branded
Branded is country party based in Sacramento. The band’s full-blown stage performances complete with professional sound engineering and lighting crew to ensure audiences have the ultimate musical experience.
Thursday, March 16, 8 p.m. – Blue Collar Men
A Styx tribute band from Sacramento, Blue Collar Men accurately perform great rock classics from the 70s and beyond. In addition to the hits of Styx, Blue Collar Men often include hits from Journey, Kansas, REO Speedwagon, Boston and Night Ranger in their shows.
Friday, March 17, 9 p.m. – Black Irish
Together for 25 years, The Black Irish brand brings together a unique mix of American, Celtic, Spanish and Italian folk music. Performing both original and traditional music, the four-piece band focus on playing acoustic music in an exciting, upbeat way.
Saturday, March 18, 9 p.m. – Busta Groove
Northern California’s hottest dance party, Busta Groove plays hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today. The playlist for the group songs from a variety of genres, from a variety of artists including The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Guns N Roses and Michael Jackson.
Willow Creek Lounge is a smoke free entertainment venue complete with a full service bar, dance floor and bar-top video slots. All guests to the lounge must be 21 or older to attend.
