Escalon resident Chris Harp was the first place overall finisher in the two-mile Park Fete run on Saturday morning, running the course in 12:48. He took first in his 30- to 39 age group and the top place among the 191 entrants in the two mile event. First female finisher in that race was Heather Gleser, 13th overall, first in her 30- to 39 age group and running the course in 14:32.

In the 10k, top overall finishers were Michael Bower – an Escalon High School teacher and track and field assistant coach – and Dalila Rodriguez. Bower took the first place overall and was first in his 20- to 29 age group men’s division with a time of 36:30. Rodriguez, 21st overall, was the top female finisher, running in the 40- to 49 female age group and covering the course in under 50 minutes, coming in at 49:54.
